Abstract

It′s well known that hormone replacement therapy(HRT) can effectively improve women′s menopause symptoms.Starting HRT in the early menopause can prevent women′s cardiovascular disease,osteoporosis and Alzheimer′s.The risk of metabolic syndrome(MS) would be increased in postmenopausal women.The effects of HRT on obesity,blood glucose,lipid and blood pressure in MS are reviewed in this article.
