Theory and Practice of Urban Land Consolidation

Urban land consolidation is very important,which is an effective measure to achieve a reasonable,efficient and intensive use of urban land resources.The essence is the process of reasonably organizating urban land use,making urban land use pattern,structure and relationship adapt to the social economic development goals,increasing the urban land utilization and output rate,and improving the urban ecological environment process.However,the urban land consolidation in China is still at the infancy stage.The connotation of urban land consolidation is discussed,the problems in urban land use in China are analyzed,and the functions and main patterns are introduced.
