Aesthetic Characteristics of Emperor Silk Clothing in Qing Dynasty

This paper analyzes types of emperor clothing in the Qing dynasty and its uniqueness based on historical data and discusses aesthetic features of emperor silk clothing in the Qing dynasty in the style,color,fabric and decoration.The distinct contrast between long sleeve and narrow clothes of emperor silk clothing in the Qing dynasty and loose robe,super sleeve and big crown of the Han nationality reflects the life custom of horde,cultural influences of Han clothing and influences of secular culture on the upper class.It is an extension and development of the cultural system of traditional emperor clothing of Han nationality.Emperor clothing in the Qing dynasty has integrated inheritance,transformation and innovation organically and opened up a new state for emperor clothing in ancient China.Its simple style,colors with a strong contrast and complicated and exquisite patterns form the aesthetic features of emperor silk clothing in the Qing dynasty with unique charm and can provide certain reference for the design of modern high-level dress.
