Abstract
TiO2 nanotube arrays have drawn extraordinary attention in recent years due to their distinctive morphology and notable performance structure,good mechanical and chemical stability,as well as excellent corrosion resistance.TiO2 nanotube arrays has proven to be of great interest for use in water photoelectrolysis,solar cells,photocatalysis,photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants,and gas sensing.The new research achievements of TiO2 nanotube arrays on the preparation processes,forming mechanism,modification and the applications have been reviewed.The existing problems and its further prospects in this field are also discussed.
