Brief Analysis on "Qinghai Studies"

is located among the interior,Tibet,Mongolia and Central Asia(Xinjiang today).Numerous events in during the Ming-Qing transition influenced the historical process in China and Inner Asia.Due to its strategic significance,Qinghai became an indispensable administrative unit since the Yongzheng reign(1723-1735).And a new branch of Lifanyuan,the grand minister in Qinghai,was set up.In the highly diverse society,Qinghai unique history follows its own lines of local development from the aspects of economy,society and politics and involves larger outer areas.Establishing a distinct field of Qinghai Studies will benefit not only the history of this region but also the studies of China and Inner Asia.
