Abstract
The electrochemical behavior of poly(ferrocenylsilane) films in six kinds of organic solvents was investigated with cyclic voltammetry (CV), and the influence of solvent on the electrochemical behavior of the films was discussed. In “good solvents, the electrolytes were dissociated almost completely, the films were solvent_swollen moderately, and the CV behavior of the films exhibited reversible features. The influences of supporting electrolyte ion volume on the CV behavior of the PFDMS films in organic solvents were investigated too. Electrolyte anions, as counter ions, took part in charges neutralizing in the films, so that the size of the anion affected the CV behavior of the films remarkably.
