Glimpse the Poetic Thought of Scholars Who Insisted On Restoring Ancient Ways in Initial Stage of Song Dynasty

In the initial stage of Song Dynasty,poetic thoughts of scholars,such as Liu Kai,Tian Xi,Shi Zhiyuan,Wang Yuchen and etc.,who insisted on restoring ancient ways,generally concerned the relation between poetry and reality.They appreciated Li Bai's forthright poetry style.They also respected Du Fu for his worry about the country and the people.As the one of the styles(Baiti,Wantangti and Xikunti),the Wantangti was appreciated particularly,because most of poets of Wantangti were monks.So the poetic thought of the initial stage of Song Dynasty possessed distictive features at that time,and made important influence on the poetic development of the middle and late period of Song Dynasty.
