Abstract

The relation between different sowing time, different leaf area of the different leaf position on the stem and leaf weight and yield of the wheat were studied based on 17 wheat varieties used as experiment materials. The result indicated that sowing time has greater effect on growing period and yield of the wheat. The difference between spikelet number per ear, grain number per spikelet, grain number of single plant, yield of single plant is extremely obvious under conditions of different sowing time. The relation between leaf, area of wheat and yield factor is very close. Difference between grain ear number, ear weight, grain number per spikelet is remarkable and can be used as an important index of high yield breeding.
