Abstract

This paper begins with a brief introduction of the phylogeny of organic agriculture in China. Based on the comparison among traditional, ecological and organic agriculture, a conclusion can be drawn that organic agriculture as the typical model of sustainable agriculture will be the leading direction in China. Secondly, the significance and feasibility of the development of organic agriculture in China are comprehensively discussed and analyzed. Finally, several effective suggestions are provided to promote modernization of agriculture and realize sustainable development.
