Abstract

Cutting process of soft tissue and organs is a very important in virtual surgery simulation. Tetrahedron is widely used to construct the geometric model of virtual organs. It must be spirted to adaptive to topology change due to cutting operations. Some new methods for reconstruction of tetrahedrons are compared in this paper.
