Abstract

Objective:Comparison of the relationships between early blood glucose values and injury severity score(ISS) of trauma patients, understanding the relation of early glucose and injury severity. Methods:Analysis into patients who were admitted to hospital within 2h after trauma enrolled.Of 100 cases, traumatism were tested the level of blood glucose after injury, and measured the injury severity score(ISS).Based on the blood glucose instance, all cases were divided into three groups,A group(6.1mmol/L),B group(6.2~11.1 mmol/L),C group(11.1 mmol/ L),statistics of the injury severity score(ISS).Results:The injury severity score and death rate of the C group(11.1 mmol/ L)were distinctly higher than those of the A group(6.1mmol/L)and B group(6.1~11.1 mmol/L)(P0.01).Conclusion:The level of the blood glucose of traumatism is markedly heightened after injury, and the extent of the trauma is positive correlation of the blood glucose.
