Abstract

This paper discussed the nodal analysis and the modified nodal approach for circuit analysis.Examples show that modified nodal approach has one advantage over the nodal analysis for the formulation of circuit equations. We also discuss how to formulate the circuit equations when modified nodal approach is used. This approach can also be used in the computer aided analysis of circuits. These discussions are valuable and helpful for the teaching of circuit analysis.
