Abstract

Wenxingdiaolong·Rhyme wholly embodies Liu Xie's rhyme viewpoint and also a concentrated embodiment of the highly development of rhyme theory in Qi and Liang dynasties. The rhyme theory of Wenxingdiaolong is not only a correct sum-up of poetry rhyme before Qi and Liang, but also has guiding significance to the later metric poems,ci and qu.It can be concluded that Liu Xie's rhyme theory focusing on harmony is almost a golden rule adaptable to any poem so far as the Chinese poetry is concerned.
