Abstract
The first single-dish pulsar observation at the 25 m radio telescope of Shanghai astronomical observatory is presented.The observation was implemented in April 23,2010 in the L band,using the VLBI backend for data acquisition.And the source of the observation was pulsar J0332+5434. After applying the incoherent de-dispersion process to the data,the result is folded according to the period of the source.The average profile is obtained after the folding. Comparing the obtained average profile to the one released from EPN(European Pulsar Network),it could be confirmed that the observation is successful. The success of the observation demonstrates the ability of the telescope to implement pulsar observations.And it is also a successful evidential observation for the 65m telescope, which is under construction,of Shanghai astronomical observatory.The knowledge obtained from this observation will be useful for the independent development of pulsar backend in Shanghai astronomical observatory in the future.
