On the Regional Cultural Characteristics in Lu Xun's Fiction

Lu Xun,as a master of literary criticism,dedicated his lifetime to pondering on the Chinese nationalistic,whose fiction is generally considered as the sharpest dagger to analyze and criticize the inherent weakness of our nation.However,most of his fiction take his hometown as the background and are full of nostalgia richly.The mixed emotions of both critique and reluctance to part have formed the splendid regional cultural characteristic in his works.This article will have a deeper exploration of his novels from the perspectives of regional cultural foundation,folklore and language.
