Research progress of electroless silver plating on glass cenospheres

Abstract
The preparation process of silver-coated glass cenospheres used in the fields of electromagnetic shielding coating and conductive filler was reviewed.Different methods of three major preparation steps,i.e.pretreatment,plating,and post-treatment,were introduced.The effects of pretreatment method,bath composition,process parameters and properties of glass cenosphere on electroless silver plating were summarized.The existing problems of electroless silver plating on glass cenospheres were discussed and the main study directions in future were proposed.
