Study on factors of sedimentation performance of SBR activated sludge under low temperature conditions

Abstract

A concentrated study of the factors of sedimentation performance of SBR activated sludge under low temperature was involved in this paper.The factors that the putrid waste water have bad effect on sedimentation performance of SBR activated sludge shown that the inflow SS distinctly improve sedimentation performance of activated sludge.However,the pythogenous sewage evidently worsen sedimentation performance of activated sludge.When loading rate is 0.18 kg COD/(kgMLSS·d),the sedimentation performance of SBR activated sludge do well.The less DO concentration results in sludge bulking in SBR system.
