Abstract

The development of research on creativity has gone through the process from mono-disciplinary to multi-disciplinary approach.In recent years there has been a general trend of taking a system view on creativity: creativity is a result of interaction among multiple factors,including a person's knowledge background,cognitive style,character,motive,natural living environment,and cultural and wider social contexts.Creativity education can then be viewed as a 'systematised' education,hence it calls for attention to socio-cultural factors as well as personal factors.
