Abstract

The term Zuo Yong which has different connotation in the Academia is an important poetic concept in by Jiaoran.In view of the two different theory systems by Jiaoran and the Molian Theory in of The Tang and Five Dynasties,We think that the main connotation of the term Zuo Yong in points to Yi and its meaning is refining or polishing the idea of poem in poetic writing which is included in the Molian(polish) theory in of the Tang and Five Dynasties.Molian is the core thoery of the Tang and Five Dynasties poetry theory,and its development leads from Wang Changling's to Jiaoran's Poetic Styles and to its maturity with Jinzhen Shige by Bai Juyi.Molian is one of the most unique theories in the Tang and Five Dynasties and the early Song with presenting a splendid sight.
