Anaphylactic shock induced by glutathione for injection

Abstract
One 55-year-old male patient admitted to hospital due to abdominal pain.He had a history of allergic asthma and liver damage.As soon as glutathione was injected intravenously,he suffered with anaphylaxis,presenting with severe chest tightness,shortness of breath,lips cyanosis,diffuse bilateral expiratory wheezes and cardiac arrest.He was treated with oxygen therapy,salbutamol,dexamethasone,aminophylline,etc.After 7 minutes,all of the symptoms mentioned disappeared.
