Abstract
Video monitoring systems based on ARM have a wide range of applications in the industrial、military and civilian fields.The video capture is the key technology in the video monitoring system.The purpose of the design is to realize analog video signal A/D conversion,compression coding upon the analog video signal collected by analog camera,in order to facilitate the digital video signal transmission over wireless networks.First,analog video signal was converted into digital signal when through SAA7113H video decoder chip,then realize the analog video signal compression encoding when through the S3C2440 processor.After the experiment,it was proved that the effectiveness of the design is good,fully able to meet the requirements of video monitoring systems.
