Abstract
The growth curve of the filial generation of black and yellow/white quails from 0 to 10 weeks was fitted with Logistic,Gompertz,Bertalanffy and Brody and Richard four nonlinear models. The result indicated that the four models were all very useful.Gompertz model fitting effet was very good for two groups, which had the higher R2(above 0.997),the lower residual sum of squares(E).The critical age were fond to be 3.030 4 weeks and 3.206 4 weeks, the critical body weight were fond to be 59.480 9 g and 54.213 6 g.So Gompertz model is the best model to describle the growth curve of the filial generation of black and yellow/white quails.
