Abstract
The product-design knowledge includes structural knowledge such as single engineering data-base, semi-structural knowledge like web page, and nonstructural knowledge as normal document. So realizing logic representation of knowledge is a key to studying product-design knowledge-base. And the share and recycle of knowledge is an important goal to build knowledge-base. So we bring out a knowledge representation method based on ontology, regarding product-design as ontology, classifying those knowledge correctly , and founding out the correlative property among knowledge-class. Then we build the ontology-model of designing knowledge u-sing XML and provide theoretical support for constructing reconfigurable product-design knowledge-base.
