Abstract

Gauss formula, wildly used in physics, reflects several types of physical field diffusion in the direction of uniformity and constancy of three-dimensional space. The learning of Gauss formula is important for understanding basic concepts of physics. However, there is no any experiment can conveniently proves the accuracy of gauss quantities in describing those physical fields. In this paper, several common physical fields in accordance with Gauss formula are listed; the difficulties of its experimental measurements are briefly introduced; and the distribution of optical radiation was measured to verify Gauss formula by using digital sensors.
