On the Development of Community Sports in China: a Critique Perspective

Through the study of related literature and documents,this essay analyzes and discusses the status quo and the problem of community sports in China.It points out that while it has made remarkable achievement in sports,China doesn't satisfy the public's demand for sports or give them enough rights in this regard.The fundamental reason lies in the lack of public awareness,the government's incorrect positioning,the lack of a mechanism for the management and sustenance of community sports for special groups and the development of national traditional sports,the under-professionalization of community sports,and shortage of professional talents.
