Study on the automatic system of typical 3D punching-mould design

Abstract

The punching-die CAD system developed with Visuai Basic 6.0 as the developing language and Solidworks as the developing-platform is introduced.A parametric method combining automatic design and interactive design is proposed for designing the punching process.The system can complete the three-dimensional design of the part and give the three-dimensional assembling drawing.A viable scheme to develop application system with Solidworks software is also offered.
