Abstract
To deal with the excessive time lagging characteristic of the superheated steam controlling of the No.16 boiler of Chongming Electric Power Company, the self-adaptive Smith predictor compensation technology was adopted to redesign the superheated steam temperature control system of the boiler. Actual operation shows that during the load increasing and decreasing process of the boiler, the superheated steam temperature can be kept within the allowable range strictly by the steam temperature control system.
