Abstract
Modern construction of China's socialism and the rise of the Chinese nation cannot be done without Marxist guidance. Of course, Marxism should adapt to Chinese situation and advance with time in order to guide the construction of China's socialist modernization, which requires a consistent study of Marxism. However, in view of the present state of Marxism study in China, five kinds of disseverance exist: the official study of Marxism and the academic study of Marxism, Marxism as a revolutionary theory and Marxism as a construction theory, Marx's philosophy and Marxist philosophy, return to Marx and promote Marx, Marxist sinification and China's Marxification, all of which should be firmly opposed and eliminated.
