Abstract

[Objective] The study aimed to provide scientific base for high yield of barley Kenpi 2.[Method] In field test of 2006 and 2007,6 applying N levels and 5 plant densities were signed to study the effect of N application rate and plant density on the yield and protein content of barley Kenpi 2.[Result] With the increment of N application rate, plant height,1000-grain weight and yield of Kenpi 2 were all be increased, its protein content showed the trend of first increase and than decrease. The yield difference in different N application treatments was at 0.01 levels. When N application rate was 67.5 kg/hm2,Kenpi 2 got highest yield and protein. When the plant density was 350×104 plants/hm2,Kenpi 2 got most 1000-grain weight. With the increment of plant density, the effective spikes and yield per plot were increased. When the plant density was 425×104 plants/hm2,the yield of Kenpi 2 was highest.[Conclusion] The optimum plant density and N application rate for Kenpi 2 in Heihongjiang reclamation area were 425×104 plants/hm2 and 67.5 kg/hm2,resp.
