Abstract

By optimizing the acid producing strains, a strain with high yield of caproic acid and acetic acid was selected; further, the media and culture conditions were optimized to make it produce large amount of acids. On this basis, the alcohol was supplemented and appropriate esterifying enzymes were applied to promote esterification of acid and alcohol. And then extraction and concentration by a suitable distillation method were performed. Finally, the concentrate was applied to low-grade liquor blending.
