Abstract

Hot strip rolling mill vibration is a common problem in the world. Aiming at the vibration problem of a certain large hot strip rolling mill,a hydraulic vibration suppressor was designed. It was placed in the lateral direction at the bearing base of the rolling mill to suppress the system's vibration. The dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic vibration suppressor was simulated with the software MATLAB. The results showed that this device has a good vibrationsuppression effect on a strip rolling mill.
