Application of Farming System Approach to Researches on Sustainable Farming System Development

The farming system approach is divided into farming system analysis and farming system research. The farming system approach has been widely used to improve agrotechnology and enhance land productivity in agricultural research programs in developing countries. In developed countries this method is used for the research on the development of sustainable farming system. In this paper farming system approach and its application to the research on the development of sustainable farming system are introduced and the research results are presented.
