Ecological Civilization: A Turning Point of Human Civilization

Ecological civilization results from the negation of the traditional civilization which consists of the primitive civilization, agricultural civilization and industrial civilization. The shared views of nature, economy, technology and values by the primitive civilization, agricultural civilization and industrial civilization indicate that the three civilization evolved on the same track and thus can be seen as the different developmental stages of the traditional civilization. Ecological civilization, established on the basis of denying the traditional views of nature and values which can be seen as the roots of the traditional civilization, signals the human civilization at the turning point. As the first self-conscious civilization, construction of the ecological civilization has become an irreversible trend in the world.
