Abstract
Among all the treatment technologies for dangerous waste, the high-temperature incineration is the most effective approach to destroy the infectious and poisonous matter as well as reduce the volume and weight. The paper introduced the structure and characteristics ofφ4.3 m×12 m rotary kiln used for treatment of medical waste,as well as narrated the main technical process of incineration system and the application of the rotary kiln to the system. The kiln rotates normally and reversely with stepless speed regulation and is squamaformed sealed. The temperature in kiln ranges from 850℃ to 1200℃,which satisfies the national requirements for incineration of medical waste.
