Abstract

In this paper a method to analyze and calculate the wave propagation in an inhomogenously filled waveguide is proposed, the inhomogenously filled waveguide is equivalent to a homogenously filled waveguide by using an equivalent dielectric constant, which can simplify analysis and calculation of wave propagation in the waveguide.
