Abstract
The virtual modeling,application environment simulation,product comparison,and virtual assembly were studied with the example of a fruit picker design based on virtual manufacturing technologies.The important role of virtual manufacturing technologies in product development was demonstrated.The development flow of tool product based on virtual manufacturing technologies was put forward.
