Study of Military Science of Sun Tzu and Chinese Original Books on Military Science

Abstract

The main part of Chinese original books on military science is comprised of six books before Qin Dynasty including Military Science of Sun Tzu.Through the study of completing age,authors,records and editions,morals and historical positions of these books,Military Science of Sun Tzu is believed to be the earliest and comparatively complete military book in China at present.It represents the first climax in the development of military idea before Qin Dynasty.In a sense,Military Science by Wu Qi and Military Science by Sun Bin can be called the second and third climax.And Wei Liaozi is the masterpiece of military strategists before Qin Dynasty.
