Abstract
This paper describes the approach to dispose of a lot of irregular goaf below the open pit under the present conditions in Sandaozhuang mining district. It is considered that the approach of caving large-area underground mine goaf by zoned deep-hole blasting has such obvious advantages as high efficiency, good working safety and lower investment, but has such shortcomings as more bourock producing in the deep and rock toe forming easily.
