Abstract

The agglomeration of industries is an inevitable outcome in the course of many countries' economic development as a kind of geographical phenomenon in the industrial evolutionary process.In the paper,the author uses spatial Gini Coefficient to measure the agglomeration degree of tourism industries in 1998-2006,the result indicates that some tourism industries show high degree of concentration,and the whole agglomeration level of Chinese tourism industries is rising continuously in research period.This not only can provide robust evidence for Chinese tourism industry agglomeration but also evaluate the development policy of tourism industry.
