Abstract

The modified bentonite was characterized by various analysis techniques, such as IR,XRD and SEM.The factors affecting the Cr(Ⅵ) removal rate, such as amount of adsorption agent,pH value and stirring time, were studied. The removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ) on Fe-Ni modified bentonite at optimized conditions reached 95%.
