Cultural Perspective of Realizing the Functions of Socialist Ideology

Ideology is seen as one of the most fundamental characters of culture.Socialist ideology and culture are of a unity of opposites.While ideology is an entity of culture,it also restricts culture.On the other hand,culture is a relatively independent realm.The transition of the core value of culture is realized through ideology,and socialist ideology is reflected on culture.In the same sense,the integrating and permeating functions of ideology will not be well realized without the agency of culture.The reason why socialist ideology and culture can be in such positive relation of mutually complementary and interative lies in the fact that socialist ideology is overlapping with culture to a certain degree.The author points out that the exploration of advanced Marxists have made much contribution for us to refer to and offered us a lot of food for thought.
