Abstract
The gas explosive may occur in coal mines, with plenty of personal casualties and enormous property loss. Therefore,it is important to study shock waves of gas explosive for preventing and controlling its injury and damage effect, where the propagation of shock wave plays a basic role.A mathematical model of shock wave propagation is proposed in this paper. The wave surface pressure and other aerodynamics parameters are obtained, especially when the shock wave front passes the section of the laneway with sudden change of area. The results may help the safety assessment of gas explosion and the establishment of hazard protection and reduction measures.
