An Analysis of Discourse Teaching from Different Angles

Abstract

A communicative discourse is the concept of a whole. A discourse consists of its basic structures, the connection of paragraphs and sentences, the associative meaning of each word from between the words linked. Both the level of discourse construction and the proper use of language in discourse influence the quality of communication. The author proves the basic approach of discourse teaching by analysis of English discourses according to the communicative function of the target language.
