Abstract
Using Alnus creamastogyne as the experimental material, the three kind of different afforestation densities were set in same site condition. The results showed that: The afforestation density had obvious effects on 3-years old Alnus creamatogyne in single plant average diameter, height, volume and height under branch;and no obvious effects on the per unit area of stock. The average diameter, height and volume increment were decreased with the increase of afforestation density, but the height under branch was opposite. In the proper afforestation density(1667 plant per hm2),the unit area of stock was increased, and the single plant volume growth was increased obviously,it was developed the culture of big-diameter timber.
