Abstract
Objective Through the analysis of splenectomy for refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura cases, statistical splenectomy for refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and treatment factors, looking for how to predict before surgery to determine the efficacy of the method of splenectomy and analyzed after poor results, then the effects of the drug.Explore refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura effective, less side effects of treatment. Methods Of May 1996 March 2011 in Shanxi Medical University Second Affiliated Hospital of splenectomy Splenectomy for refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in 62 cases(1 case of an additional deputy spleen removal surgery) age,Gender, preoperative with or without bleeding symptoms, preoperative hormonal response, whether the enlargement in the spleen, splenectomy after treatment with platelet peak for statistical analysis. Results All 62 cases were cured,34 cases, good effect in 13 cases, progress in 10 cases,Ineffective 5 cases, effective(CR+good effect) was 75.8%.Gender and whether spleen enlargement and splenectomy was no significant effect.Preoperative with or without bleeding symptoms, age, postoperative platelet peak, the number of bone marrow megakaryocytes was statistically significant, preoperative hormonal response;with clinical preoperative platelet count used should be of value. Conclusion Preoperative hormone response to preoperative platelet count can be used as the efficacy of splenectomy predictor.
