Abstract

Hang Zhenxia is an important writer of nationalism literature and art group. His representative works are On The Longhai Line, Yellow People's Blood, and The Destruction of Large Shanghai. Marked under an appearance of serving the country, On The Longhai Line is against other Kuomintang factions in favor of Jiang Jieshi; Superficially, Yellow People's Blood advertises the Great Asianism, but actually it is against the Soviet Union; The Destruction of Large Shanghai praised hero in the war against Japan in the superficial layer, but in the deep layer it argues in favor of Jiang Jieshi's compromising policy to Japan. The three works show Huang Zhenxia's difference attitudes to the civil war, relations between China and the Soviet Union and relations between China and Japan respectively. However, there is fundamental feature of idea behind these different attitudes. This is using nationalism as a flag but expressing the political will of Kuomintang of Jiang faction. His nationalism is largely false because the political faction he defends is narrow politics.
