Abstract

The principle of mass flow AGC is introduced.Each control algorithm in coarse and fine mass flow AGC is analyzed,and application of mass flow AGC in tandem cold mill of Baosteel is analyzed and dis- cussed.Based on high accurate,fast response and digital speed control,mass flow AGC for tandem cold mill is advanced,reliable and accurate.The thickness accuracy of strip can be controlled in micrometer level,so the system can meet user s requirement for high accuracy cold rolling strip.
