Abstract

Nicotine dependence develops among smokers, and they exhibit withdrawal symptoms when they try to stop smoking.Few national smokers who want to quit use pharmacotherapy against abstinence symptoms. We conducted a review of published reports of smoking cessation pharmacotherapy trials in order to address the following: i.Research findings suggest that these medications are safe and effective;ii.Recent survey suggest that Sustained-Release Bupropion does better work than Nicotine-replacement since it is likely that long duration of Nicotine-replacement may maintain nicotine dependent;iii. The use of two or more products may be necessary in clinical practice.
