On Mohist School's Art of Using Concepts

Mohist Analects was a work created by the Mohist school during the Warring States Period.From Mohist's brewing of this book to the ultimate summing up of it in the later part of the Warring States Period,the process of its knowledge construction and the formation of its systems lasted 250 years.Mohist Analects was finished around the third century B.C.,the same period of time when Gongsu Long's work and Xunzi's work came into being.The arguments,antiphony of the above-mentioned three can be clearly found and traced.Mohist school is rich in theory and application of the concepts and their relevant art.Based on their unique understanding of the nature and role of concepts,they classified concepts from their extension to their contents,which plays a very significant role in establishing the category system of China's ancient logic,philosophy and science.
