Abstract
The manual lifting capacity was evaluated by the psychophysical approach under different integrations of lifting parameter, and the youth's maximum acceptable weight of lift(MAWL),heart rate and rating of perceived exertion were obtained. The results indicated that three lifting parameters and their interaction effects, which included lifting heights, frequencies and horizontal distance, had significant influence on the youth's manual lifting wight. The lifting weight decreased with the increase of three lifting parameters. In identical lifting task, the male and female's physiologic reaction and the exertion level of various parts of the body have differences in manual lifting.
